ดิฉันรู้สึกเศร้าใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งเมื่อได้ยินข่าวการจากไปของนายโคฟี่ อันนัน หนึ่งในรัฐบุรุษของโลก ขอแสดงความเสียใจอย่างสุดซึ้งต่อองค์กรภายใต้องค์การสหประชาชาติทุกหน่วยงานในการสูญเสียอันยิ่งใหญ่ในครั้งนี้ ผลงานของนายโคฟี่ อันนัน ถือเป็นมรดกอันล้ำค่าได้สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้ชาวโลกมากมายได้ยึดมั่นในสันติภาพ สิทธิมนุษยชน และหลักนิติธรรม

ดิฉันจะจดจำข้อแนะนำเกี่ยวกับอนาคตประเทศไทยที่ท่านเคยได้มอบไว้ ตลอดจนความอบอุ่นที่ตัวท่านได้สร้างความประทับใจให้กับดิฉัน พร้อมกันนี้ดิฉันขอส่งความรู้สึกเสียใจกับสมาชิกในครอบครัวของท่านด้วยค่ะ

I am deeply saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Mr. Kofi Annan, one of our world statesmen. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the whole UN organization for this great loss. Mr. Kofi Annan’s legacy has inspired us all to upholding strongly in peace, human rights and the rule of law. I will always remember his wisdom as regards to Thailand’s future and his personal warmth and generosity which have great impression on me. Please also kindly convey my deepest sympathy and condolences to the members of his family.
